These are photos from the "Home Place", 200 acres Darius Myers bought near Fresno Ca, in 1890.
There were family gatherings on Great Great Grandma Melissa's birthday while she was alive. She is about in the center of the photo.
I love this seond picture with the ladies all gathered together, some with their aproms still on. My grandmother (second from left) looks slyly at the photographer (wonder if it was Granpa?). Violet Beck, writer of the Homefolks book is at the far right with little Mildred.
Uncle "Phil" and Aunt Flora A. Phil is short for his full first name "Epaminondas". The house in the bottom photo was Great Grandma Susies and Great Grandpa Darius (the younger) home.
